Bachelor’s degree after 12 years: Hapoel Tel Aviv wins the Toto Cup in the National League

A degree is a degree. So far, Hapoel Tel Aviv is not licking honey in the national league and that’s putting it mildly. Tonight (Wednesday) came a bright spot for her that may give her a shot of motivation to continue – winning the Toto Cup title at Laomit after a 0:2 victory over Hapoel Nof HaGilil.

In the eighth minute, the Reds’ stopper Goran Antonić found the back of the net and put Masai Dago’s team ahead. In the 27th minute it was Goni Naor who doubled with a shot from Stav Toriel, perhaps Hapoel’s best player.

The Reds have been holding a first title since 2012, when they won the state cup. For Dego, this is his second title as a coach after he won with his previous team Maccabi Haifa the title of champion of champions last year.
