A bizarre combination of horror games in which you have to take care of children in an old church that has become a family home and seal even the devil has been released on Steam.

On the 13th, Gundes, a Brazilian one-man indie game developer, released a horror game ‘Chaput’s baby’ on Steam. The game unfolds from the perspective of Samantha, a babysitter hired by the Chaput family, and deepens in earnest when Samantha, who works as a babysitter, receives a phone call at home. The content of the call is to help seal a demon that causes anomalies in this small town, and the unpredictable development makes the game’s progress curious.

At the same time, in the trailer released at the same time, a portrait of a woman hanging in a church with a gloomy atmosphere appears, and the background music adds a lacrimosa used for a funeral mass, raising questions about how the character in the portrait is related to the church. The next video shows Samantha arriving at the church, looking outside the church, and the dolls inside the church moving and performing cruel actions, suggesting that Samantha’s survival is not easy.

The appearance of having to run away from a moving doll or perform a mission while hiding is reminiscent of Poppy Playtime, so gamers who enjoy the survival horror genre might pay attention to it at least once.

Chaput’s Child is scheduled to be released on the 23rd, and Korean is not supported.
