Babylon Fall global concurrent player count drops below 10 on PC

Platinum Games’ hotly contested new release, Babylon’s Fall, continues to fight just a month following its release.

As discovered by Tech-Radarcorresponding SteamCharts – a website that tracks the performance of games on Steam in a predictable way – the global concurrent player count for the new game dropped to just eight players as of Wednesday April 13th. The highest peak so far is only 1166 players.

In the last 30 days, the average number of players was only 137 concurrent people.

The news comes just weeks following Platinum Games confirmed this “no plans” to reduce development of Babylon’s Fall despite its less than stellar launch month.

The Square Enix and Platinum Games collaboration not only launched to lackluster reviews, but it did struggled to arouse much interest among players, in addition. Just two weeks following launch, Square launched a poll to “give everyone an even better gaming experience,” and now the team wants you to know that despite the issues, the content is “virtually complete” by Season 2 and is being worked on Season 3 is already underway.
