Baby hygiene products recalled because they contain a carcinogen

If you have purchased any of the baby cosmetics, do not use them and return them to the point of sale. According to an alert published on Tuesday by the Rappel Conso site, three products marketed by the Systèmes U group (including the Super U, Hyper U and U Express stores) are being recalled across France on Tuesday due to the presence of a substance classified as carcinogenic.

The first product is baby cleansing waterfrom the brand U tout Petits sold in 250 ml and 750 ml bottles, under the following barcodes: 3256225720965 and 3256225720972. The second product is the baby moisturizer of the same brand marketed for its part in a 100 ml tube, under the barcode 3256225720958. Finally, the third product baby cleansing milkalso from the brand U tout Petits and available in 250 ml and 750 ml bottles with the barcodes 3256225720989 and 3256225720996.

The substance described as “mutagenic and toxic for reproduction category 2”

For the moment, the name of the substance concerned has not been communicated.
