A baby conceived by two blood brothers died two hours and ten minutes after being born, a sad case recorded in Dustlik, a town in Uzbekistan. The Ministry of Health of that country stressed that a pregnancy between close relatives most of the time has tragic outcomes.
The authorities of the Central Asian country indicated that the minor presented a series of “potentially fatal” complications and had been born at week 35, with a measurement of 47 centimeters.
The baby conceived by blood brothers eventually died of severe congenital ichthyosis.
“It is known that in Medicine it is proven that, in most cases, children are born with various genetic defects due to marriage of close relatives”, reported the Ministry of Health of Uzbekistan.
The mother had already been pregnant with another man, a pregnancy that developed without difficulty, he added.
