The reason for such an allegation is some incidents during the match. Before Babar Azam got out in the 13th over while Peshawar Zalmi batted, Islamabad captain Shatab Khan said that Babar was out. Shatab Khan’s voice getting ready for bowling was caught on the stump mic.

Peshawar captain Babar Azam was dismissed on the fifth ball of the 13th over. Babar, who scored a brilliant half-century, was left lbw by Shatab Khan. The video footage of the incident has gone viral on social media. It is alleged in the social media that this is a proof of collusion between the actors. Babar faced 39 balls and got out with 64 runs.

After losing the toss, Peshawar Zalmi scored 183 runs for the loss of eight wickets. In reply, Islamabad United managed to score only 171 runs for the loss of six wickets. Despite winning the first eliminator, Peshawar Zalmi lost to Lahore Qualanders in the second eliminator.
