ICC awards announced. The award for talents in international cricket competitions has been announced. Pakistan captain Babar Azam has received the Sir Gary Sobers ICC Men’s Cricketer of the Year award. Babar has scored 2598 runs in 44 matches across three formats this year. Babar Azam has also received the award for the best men’s ODI cricketer. He scored 679 runs in 9 ODIs. Babar Azam is currently the top batsman in the ODI rankings. Assam won the ICC ODI Cricketer of the Year award for the second year in a row. England all-rounder Nat Skiver won the award for the best women’s cricketer last year.
