Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) leader and former Maharashtra state minister Baba Siddiqui has been killed in an assassination attempt.
These politicians were famous for their lavish iftar parties which were attended by famous Bollywood stars like Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan.
This incident of firing on Baba Siddiqui has happened a few months after the incidents when firing was done outside the house of actor Salman Khan.

Baba Siddiqui’s son Zeeshan Siddiqui is a Congress MLA from Bandra (East) in Mumbai.
Zeeshan was expelled from the Congress in August for anti-party activities.
