Q: I thought today was a match that showed a lot of good things regarding Sanen Neo Phoenix, but what do you think when you look back on it?
A: On the defensive side, I think it was a game where we showed not only our toughness but also our mental toughness.
Thanks to them playing tough and following their own defensive system, we were able to play good defense, and I think it was a good game as we stuck to our own style on offense for the entire 40 minutes.
Q: What words did you say to the players from the previous match to this match?
A: We have different players who know their own basketball, players who understand it, and players who are able to do it, and I told them that we need to improve on that phase.
Some players are satisfied with what they understand, so everyone has to go as far as DO (do it).
To that end, we must continue to work hard and continue to look for things that can improve, and I think the most important thing for us to do is to open our mouths to each other.
We can’t go where we want to go if things continue as they are now, so I told them that we should all take better care of Relentless.

I think we had a tough start and it was a good match.
We knew that our toughness was the key to winning, so I’m glad we were able to execute on that.
I think it was really good that we were able to maintain our mental state and control the match once morest A-Tokyo, who conceded few goals.

A: It was a very tough game, but we were able to take shots from outside no matter which player played, so I think we were able to capture the match by creating space and taking advantage of it.

A: Tokyo is a team that is very tough and plays in a physical style, but we had a bad game in the previous game, and as we reflected on that, we tried to play our own basketball once more, and for 40 minutes I had to play my own game. I think we have created a unique basket.
There were times when we let down our guard, but the fact that we were able to come together as a team and fight until the end is proof that we are growing step by step.
Q: What are your enthusiasm for tomorrow’s Game 2?
A: Even though the measures have been taken in previous games, the entire team continues to say that we must continue to play our own style of basketball. I think I have no choice but to continue for 40 minutes.
I think the results will only come from that, so first of all, we want to play basketball in our own way, just like we did in today’s game.
Q: Congratulations on achieving 500 assists in B1. How regarding looking back on it yourself?
A: It’s a record that I mightn’t have achieved on my own, and I only get assists when my former teammates from Akita and Sanen make shots, so I’m grateful to my teammates.
I’m really happy that I was able to accomplish this.
I’m happy when my teammates score as if it were me, and most of all I’m happy when my assists lead the team to victory.
