Greetings from the end of the season
Thank you for your continued support and support for Toyama Grouses.
We would like to inform you that the 21-22 season has ended with the final round of the regular season held on May 8th.
First of all, grabs who have always empowered the team, sponsors and partner corporate groups who have supported us, volunteer staff who have supported the operation of home games, Toyama Basketball Association, GOW. We would like to express our sincere gratitude to all the members, government officials, and medical professionals who are working hard to combat the new coronavirus, for being able to survive the long league match for eight months.
The result was 24 wins and 35 losses (7th in the west area), and unfortunately I mightn’t make it to the championship for the second consecutive year. We apologize for the concern that the players and staff were not available due to the consecutive losses from the opening, injuries and the new coronavirus, and the difficult situation continued, and we just continued to inspire the players and staff. I would like to thank you once more for what you did.
In addition, I think that being able to successfully play 59 of the 60 games planned for this Korona-ka is an exciting result as a professional sports club. We will use this experience as a learning experience for future club management.
From next season, the license examination of the new B1 standard will finally begin. With the mission and pride of delivering energy and courage to everyone, we will work with you to overcome challenges and prepare for the entry of the new B1. We would appreciate your continued support and support in the future.
Last but not least, I pray for the early termination of the new coronavirus and the arrival of a peaceful world, and I would like to replace it with a greeting from the end of the season. Thank you very much.
