Azerbaijan intends to join the BRICS interstate association, as announced by the country’s ambassador to Moscow, Polad Bulbul oglu.
“There is a long list of nations wishing to become part of BRICS. Azerbaijan has indeed shown interest. We have been in discussions with our Russian colleagues about this, but it is also a process that requires work,” the ambassador stated in an interview with TASS, responding to a question regarding Azerbaijan’s potential membership in BRICS.
