AYA’s new portable Android game console “AYANEO Pocket Air”, which has released many portable gaming PCs, has started crowdfunding on Indiegogo. It uses Dimensity 1200 and has a 5.5-inch organic EL display. There are 6GB/128GB, 8GB/256GB, and 12GB/512GB versions, priced at 44,250 yen, 56,091 yen, and 59,051 yen, respectively. Shipping is scheduled for the end of September. This device is the company’s first Android-equipped device. It has a 5.5-inch 1080p resolution organic EL panel, LPDDR5 RAM, UFS3.1 storage, MediaTek Dimensity 1200, 7,350mAh battery, and Android 12. The size is 224 x 89.5 x 17 mm and the weight is 380 g. It also has a built-in 6-axis gyro, dual 6-axis linear motor, and vibration motor. Ports include USB3.2 Gen2 Type-C, USB Type-C for charging, 3.5mm earphone jack, and microSD card slot. It supports 4G LTE mobile data communication, Wi-Fi6, and Bluetooth 5.2, and the power button also doubles as fingerprint authentication. There is no camera installed, and an active cooling fan is used for cooling. Dimensity 1200 has Cortex-A78 x4, Cortex-A55 x4, Mali-G77 MC9, and has mid-high range class performance.
