ZoomThis awning is made up of two or more brackets (depending on the length to be protected). The model that I am offering you also only has two consoles. Its projection will be 1.10 m, i.e. the dimension of the plates under the tiles, for a total width of 0.92 m (useful width of the plates) multiplied by three, or 2.76 m. It is easy to adapt these dimensions to your project. For installing the plates, we have a purlin once morest the wall and a purlin at the front. These purlins are assembled by lag screws on the brackets.
All the parts constituting the framework are drawn from 80 x 220 mm planks, which gives, following splitting and working, sections of 105 x 70 mm. The ceiling is paneled, which allows thermal insulation to be placed between the plate under tiles and paneling. The front drop-out receives decorative paneling, which matches the rounding of the waves. The fascia boards are made of oak, screwed at the end of the purlins. Thus furnished, the awning cannot serve as a refuge for rodents or birds and saves a few degrees in terms of thermal insulation! (FIG. 1)
