Awkward moment when Michael B. Jordan is interviewed by a reporter who was “bullying” him

It is not a secret to anyone that Michael B Jordan is one of the most successful actors in Hollywood today. His participation in films like ‘Black Panther’ has earned him fame and recognition.

However, his degree of popularity was not always like this. When he was in high school, the actor was bullied. Several years later, by fate, Michael B. Jordan found himself face to face with one of those people who had hurt him in the past. This was the reaction of his former victimizer.

Apparently, that that life does not get anything turns out to be true, because on the red carpet of the third installment of ‘Creed’, the actor met a reporter who had marked his life for bad.

According to the artist, high school was a difficult time; He even remembers with great pain the bullying he suffered from his classmates.

However, in different interviews he has indicated that overcoming that experience helped him become who he is today.

Face to face with the ghost of his past

The reporter, known as Lore’l, shared classes with the sought-following actor at the Newark, New Jersey high school.

During the awkward encounter, the woman greeted Jordan as “the big star and director” and he replied “wasn’t he the ‘cheesy’ guy?”

Nervous laughter began to emerge from the journalist, who explained that everything would have been a misunderstanding.

“No, I didn’t say that, they misquoted me. You may not have heard me say that, but I said we laughed at your name,” she said.

The actor replied, “Yes, you did, but go on, how are you?” The woman asked the questions, but the atmosphere became more and more tense.

The reporter’s version

In different interviews, Michael B. Jordan has mentioned that the bullying he suffered affected his self-esteem and made him an insecure man. However, he found a different world in acting.

Lore’l, for her part, told her version of events in high school on the ‘Undressing Room’ podcast: “Michael B. Jordan is a nice and cheesy guy, and I’m not saying that as an insult,” he began.

The woman recalled that the actor rented an aquarium to his former girlfriend Lori Harvey as a Valentine’s gift.

In addition, he stressed that they made fun of him because the actor always carried photographs of his portraits under his arm.

“We lived in Newark, that was our neighborhood. We were laughing at him like, ‘What are you going to do with your stupid picture?’ And now look at him,” she recounted.
