Dr. Wright is internationally recognized for her work in the field of Rheumatology and is leading the Association of Women in Rheumatologyknown as AWARE (Association of Women in Rheumatology).

As Dr. Wright explains, “the AWARE it was founded 9 years ago around the idea that we needed to have a better presentation as our specialty acquired more female providers.”
This association focuses not only on the United States, but throughout the world, with members in more than 72 countries. They even have chapters and associations in places like Puerto Rico.
