Six Greek athletes, four from the Sports Club of Patras “ERMIS” and two from the Sports Club KAREA, participated in the international Archery competitions OPEN ARCHERY TOURNAMENT and EUROPEAN YOUTH CUP 2024 organized in Sofia
of Bulgaria on April 13 to 20, accompanied by their Coaches Stremenos Manthos and Aerikos Christos respectively.
Properly prepared, everyone gave him excellent performances and managed to
win significant distinctions. Specifically:
Open archery tournament
-Georgios Papakonstantopoulos 1st place in the compound category U18 (teenagers),
-Steremenos Elena 2nd place in the Recurve U18 (youth) category,
-Anastasia Alexopoulou 3rd place in the U18 compound category (junior) and
-Stolakis Angelos 3rd place in the compound category U18 (teenagers),
In the U18 mixed team, the Greek team with Papakonstantopoulou and
Alexopoulou took 1st place and won the gold medal. European youth cup 2024
-Anastasia Alexopoulou 8th place in the U18 (junior) compound category and
Panhellenic record with 656.
-Stremmenou Elena U18 9th place in the Recurve category (junior) and best individual performance of the year with 640.
– Anastasopoulou Ioanna 17th place in the compound category U18 (junior)
– Melissourgou Athanasia 17th place in the compound category U21 (youth).
In the U18 mixed team, the Greek team with Papakonstantopoulos and Alexopoulos reached the short final, they were defeated by the Croatian team and ranked 4th.
