Pakistan will benefit from English experience in the series against Zimbabwe while ensuring a bio-secure environment, PCB hopes to host in October.

In the British Asian Trust webinar, Wasim Khan said that according to the proposed schedule, the Zimbabwean team will arrive in Pakistan in mid-October for 3 T20Is and as many ODI matches.

The tour was scheduled in November, but due to the 14-day quarantine, the visiting cricketers will be called early. The series will start in the first week of November.

The chief executive said that the PCB is also preparing to start domestic cricket with it, taking advantage of England’s successful experience in ensuring a bio-secure environment in the series with Zimbabwe and domestic competitions.

It should be noted that the Zimbabwean board is waiting for permission from its government to tour Pakistan. Wasim Khan said that we are looking for a determined and 3-day window to hold the remaining matches of PSL 5 this year.

He dismissed the assumptions regarding security in Pakistan as wrong and said that the situation has improved a lot, during this year’s PSL, 37 foreign cricketers were involved in different teams. I will tell the world to ask the players to How was the experience of staying in Pakistan?

The Chief Executive said that everything was at a standstill due to the corona virus, in such a situation the return of cricket was also important, sending the team to England was not an easy decision, there was a lot of pressure after 10 players tested positive.

However the decision proved correct, we are happy to have played our part in the process of reviving international cricket.
