Cars of the AvtoVAZ concern from May 1 may once more increase in price, cars will rise in price by an amount of 14 to 39 thousand rubles, depending on the model. About it informed April 24 telegram channel “Buy-Lada Motor Show in Togliatti” with reference to a letter from project director Sergey Kornienko, sent to the heads of LADA dealerships.
“From May 1, 2023, the recommended retail prices for LADA cars will be changed. In accordance with the terms of the dealer agreement, the prices for all cars delivered to the dealer and not paid for will be revised,” the letter says.
According to the Telegram channel, in the Granta Sedan group, the Classic package will become more expensive by 14 thousand rubles, in the Club package – by 29 thousand. “Granta liftback” will rise in price by 24 thousand rubles in the “classic” configuration and by 39 in the “club” configuration. “Grant Drive Asset” will be raised in price by 18 thousand in the “classic” configuration and by 28 thousand in the “comfort” configuration. “Niva Travel” will become more expensive by 28 thousand in the “classic” and “comfort” configurations and by 18 thousand in the “comfort mms” and “luxury mms” configurations.
As the head of the AvtoVAZ press center, Sergey Ilyinsky, told Fontanka, “the source of the letter is still unclear,” but he did not deny a possible increase in prices for the concern’s products.
“We are considering various options, but no decision has been made yet. The possibility of price adjustments is included in the company’s business plan. It should be noted that AvtoVAZ is still working on the verge of profitability or even at a loss for some modifications of cars,” Sergei Ilyinsky said.
The last time AvtoVAZ raised prices for Lada cars was March 1, when the increase was 2% depending on the model.
