One of the doctors warned Drinking water late at night may hamper your health, and might put your heart at risk.
Doctors said The human body needs seven to eight hours a night for optimal health. This is because sleep helps the body control the hormones involved in stress and metabolism.
If sleep disturbances become chronic, the body is likely to experience frequent fluctuations in hormones.
These hormonal disruptions are responsible for high blood pressure and other metabolic complications such as type 2 diabetes and obesity.
According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, these diseases are more frequent in people who sleep less than seven hours a night.
He said Dr Stuart Galloway, Professor of Physiology at the University of Stirling, UK: “Always recommended Drink between 300 and 500 ml of fluids two to three hours before going to bed.”
Stressing that this amount will help you meet your body’s need for fluids. and make you Enjoy an ample sleep.
He added, “A lot of fluids before bed pays A person has to get up during the night in order to go to the bathroom to urinate. And theThis causes an adrenaline surge that wakes you up during the night and forces you to get out of bed to use the toilet.”
The expert explainedBecause kidney function slows down at night, urine is not processed as quickly by the body as it is during the day.”
