The 1st “Avito Expo” will be held from June 9 to 18 in Casablanca
Event : New at Avito. The group has just announced its first used car show for next month. An event likely to delight more than one.
The very first “Avito Expo” will be held from June 9 to 18 in Casablanca at the initiative of the group bringing together the leading marketplaces Avito.ma and Moteur.ma. And there is already visibility on the event. Over 8,000 m2 of exhibition space, “Avito Expo” will welcome 24 exhibitors including used car professionals (including leaders such as Renew and Global Occaz), financing (consumer credit, leasing) and assurance. 50,000 visitors are expected during the 10 days of the show.

In detail, the event will offer, according to the group, “a physical space conducive to the meeting of second-hand sales, financing and insurance professionals with buyers”. In addition, this new show, responding to strong market demand, will, according to the same source, “promote used car bargains on the one hand and facilitate the process of buying and selling on the other hand”. By organizing such an event, Avito, as an undisputed benchmark for used cars in Morocco, wishes to “transcend the experience of its users by moving from digital to physical while capitalizing on its leadership in the segment and on a customer capital of 6.5 million users per month. Its ambition is to create a “valuable experience at the same time” for buyers and sellers by facilitating the transaction and installing increased confidence in the used car market in Morocco. Thus, “Avito Expo – Used Car Show” is positioned as an essential event for the automotive ecosystem, bringing together second-hand sales professionals and offering them an exceptional opportunity to strengthen their brand image, conclude transactions and establish business partnerships.

The event should, according to the same source, “open access to a wide selection of appraised and guaranteed cars that meet a variety of needs and budgets with financing and insurance options”. In addition, visitors will have the opportunity to “compare offers and prices from different sellers, enabling them to make informed purchasing decisions. They will be able to unearth the good deal and leave behind the wheel of their new car, with also the possibility of selling the old one on the spot”. Individual sellers will therefore be able to have their vehicle appraised and receive immediate purchase offers from Avito’s partners. Also, the show, already strong in the capacity for innovation and the expertise acquired through the Avito.ma and Moteur.ma marketplaces, will offer an optimized experience through the digitization of the customer journey from registration to the show to ticketing, from vehicle expertise to the sales process. In this regard, the CEO of Avito Group, Zakaria Ghassouli, specifies: “Individuals will have access in the same place to all renowned professionals and to a diversified and secure choice of cars with the immediate availability of financing services. and insurance”. The manager, who recalls the mission of his group specializing in connecting sellers and buyers, describes his approach as “win-win for both audiences”. After the show, the group will continue to offer annual exhibitions of used vehicles.
