Vienna (OTS) – There are more people working in care and support than ever before, also because helping is more than just a job. At the same time, the number is still far too low due to the increasing needs: the care crisis remains virulent. The care reform presented by this federal government improves some framework conditions, but is not enough. Against this background, Caritas is appealing for a profound system reform in order to make care in Austria fit for the future and to be able to offer the best possible day-to-day life for many thousands of clients and their families.
