Kick-off campaign by the Socialist Youth for the new anti-sexism campaign #NICHTOKAY
With our campaign “#NICHTOKAY” we want to set an example and show that sexism – no matter what form it takes – is never okay!

Vienna (OTS) – “Our society is still thoroughly sexist. Whether at school, at work or at parties – women are often exposed to unequal treatment, malice, ridicule and, in the worst case, violence. 7% of women have experienced sexual harassment in the workplace in the past three years, and in the school system the figure is as high as 17%. For us as socialist youth, these circumstances are no longer acceptable. With our campaign “#NICHTOKAY” we want to set an example and show that sexism – no matter what form it takes – is never okay!
Discriminatory structures in our society must be broken down!” said Paul Stich and Fiona Schindl, chairman and women’s representative of the Socialist Youth Austria, as part of the launch of the #NICHTOKAY campaign.
To mark the start of the campaign, the Socialist Youth is organizing a street campaign with short, accompanying speeches.
Representatives of the media are warmly invited!
