AVISO: 14th meeting of the commission of inquiry into Wien Energie on August 30 | PID press

Vienna (OTS/RK) On Wednesday, August 30, 2023, at 10:00 a.m., the 14th meeting of the Vienna City Council’s investigative committee on the subject of “Wien Energie” will take place.

Local councilor Kurt Stürzenbecher (SPÖ), local councilor Markus Gstöttner (ÖVP) and the executive city councilor Ulli Sima (SPÖ) have been invited as witnesses to be heard by the commission. Following the questioning, the commission will deal with applications for evidence and any other matters.

The meeting will take place in the town hall, Arkadenhof, Top 24. The meetings of the investigative commission are in principle open to the public, although due to the limited space available for the interested public there will be counting cards at the city service (entrance: Friedrich-Schmidt-Platz). Journalists need accreditation. The town hall correspondence will announce and accompany all dates of the meetings in advance.

Journalists need accreditation for each meeting of the commission of inquiry. Photo, film and sound recordings are only possible before the start of the session. According to the statutes of the city constitution, these are not allowed during the meetings.
