Hollywood actor Jeremy Renner, who died in an accident while trying to save a neighbor during a snowstorm that hit the United States, celebrated his 52nd birthday in a hospital bed.

According to the US CNN broadcast on the 7th (local time), on the 6th, the day before his birthday, Renner posted a picture of himself sitting in a hospital bed surrounded by medical staff on his social media account.

He then left a message saying, “I am grateful to the renowned intensive care unit (ICU) medical staff for starting this journey.”

He also released a video of his fans congratulating him on his birthday and expressed his gratitude.

Renner was hospitalized with serious injuries following being hit by a snowplow weighing more than 6 tons while clearing a road covered in heavy snow while staying at a villa in Nevada on the 1st, the first day of the New Year.

He got out of the driver’s seat following towing the vehicle with his snowplow to help a family trapped inside the vehicle due to heavy snowfall.

As highways were closed due to heavy snowfall in the United States that day, Renner was taken to the hospital by helicopter.

Renner received two surgeries for severe chest injuries in this accident, but he is reassuring fans by sharing the news, such as posting a ‘selfie’ through Instagram.

This is the third news he posted following the accident.

Fellow actors also celebrated Renner’s birthday together through social media.

Chris Evans, who played the role of ‘Captain America’ in the movie ‘Avengers’ with Renner, posted a picture of Renner on Instagram and said, “Happy birthday to one of the toughest men I know.”
