Avalanche in the Alps; Six climbers died and nine were injured

Rome | Six people have died and nine others have been injured in an avalanche in Italy’s Alps. 19 people are missing. The search for them is going on. The climbers were the victims. The search is being carried out using helicopters and drones.

The avalanche occurred on the highest glacier in the Dolomites, which spans the Trento and Veneto regions of the eastern Italian Alps. The region is experiencing extreme heat in the next few days.
