Al-Marsad newspaper: The Russian nutritionist, Nuria Dianova, revealed the most important food item to improve the function and condition of the liver, which helps prevent the accumulation of fat in liver cells and the danger this poses.
In an interview with “Radio Sputnik”, Dianova indicated that fat gradually begins to accumulate in the liver cells of a person who follows an unhealthy diet, according to Russia Today.
She pointed out that consuming at least 50 grams of a dairy product known as “cottage cheese” daily helps improve liver function and protects it from diseases.
She explained that methionine, which is an amino acid found in cheese, helps the liver to perform its function well, and helps it fight disease, adding that methionine helps reduce the amount of fat in the liver.
She pointed out that, “From a scientific point of view, we can say that cheese improves the metabolism of liver cells, and the average person is advised to eat at least 50 grams of cottage cheese per day.”
She noted that cottage cheese can be eaten with any meal, but there is a difference in the portions, adding that for breakfast, 50 grams of cottage cheese is sufficient, and for lunch, up to 100 grams of cottage cheese can be eaten, and also the same amount can be eaten at dinner .
