From October 6th to 29th, the Autumn Days will take place once more in Blindenmarkt in Lower Austria – a musically extremely colorful festival with an operetta as the highlight.

This year’s Autumn Days in Blindenmarkt will take place – for the 34th time – under the direction of Michael Garschall from October 6th to 29th. The musical range spans from the era of the “Golden Operetta” with Johann Strauss’ masterpiece “One Night in Venice” to swinging salon music of the Golden 1920s (“Concert for All”, October 26th) and a homage the “World of Flowers” – a matinee with music regarding roses and the like moderated by organic gardener Karl Ploberger on October 22nd; from works by Carl Zeller, Udo Jürgens and Robert Stolz.

The little guests are also offered a program: “Pizza, Pasta, Waltz Disaster” moderated by Andi Hallwaxx is aimed at children aged five and over on October 15, 2023. For the even smaller ones, following last year’s great success, there will be another edition of the Mini Autumn Days, on October 8th and 21st, 2023.

One of the highlights of the autumn days is “A Night in Venice”, which features catchy melodies and stirring waltzes and arias. Blind market veteran Kurt Dlouhy alternates with Thomas Böttcher at the conductor’s podium. Andreas Sauerzapf created a new version and is also directing the dialogue.
