Autopsy confirmed suicide of oö. doctor

The body of the Upper Austrian doctor Lisa-Maria Kellermayr, who committed suicide last week after threats from the anti-vaccination scene, was autopsied today. According to the public prosecutor’s office in Wels, the preliminary result gave no indication of the influence of third parties. We continue to assume suicide.

The autopsy was carried out at the request of relatives, the facts have not changed, said a spokesman. As is their right, relatives had requested an autopsy. The public prosecutor’s office in Wels then applied to the court for this, and they had arranged for it. Nothing has changed in the suspicion. We continue to assume suicide. There are no new indications or findings that would suggest otherwise.

The preliminary autopsy result also apparently supports this view: the Wels public prosecutor’s office announced in the afternoon that there was no evidence of third-party interference. However, the written report and the chemical-toxicological test results would still take some time.
