WASHINGTON – After a traffic stop by the police, the black American Tire Nichols died – now an autopsy report has shown that the 29-year-old suffered severe bleeding from severe beatings. Nichols’ family, who were shown the video of the operation on Monday, had their own coroner perform the autopsy, the family’s lawyers said on Wednesday. Further results of the autopsy would be published at a later date, it said. According to a family lawyer, Nichols was beaten by emergency services for several minutes following the traffic stop.
