Massey Ferguson solution allows farmer to use autopilot on all machines

Massey Ferguson, a reference in the Brazilian agricultural market, now offers the Fuse Guide, a new electric autopilot that can be used in new or used tractors, harvesters and sprayers. Easy to install, the system developed by Fuse, AGCO’s technology brand, serves small and medium farmers.
“Since it is an easy to install and use system, the farmer will be able to use the Fuse Guide in various equipment, enjoying maximum precision during soil preparation, planting, spraying and harvesting operations”, explains Vanderson Schneider, specialist of Fuse Product Marketing.
The monitor for viewing information can be 5, 7 or 10 inches, according to the size of the machine and the producer’s needs.

“For example, if the producer intends to use only the automatic pilot, a smaller screen will meet the objective, but if he also intends to use additional functions, such as controlling seeds at planting, fertilization or variable spraying rate, the indication is by the 7 or 10 inch terminal, since both are compatible with ISOBUS implements”, details the specialist.

The Fuse Guide has the Smart7 receiver (GPS) installed on top of the equipment, responsible for capturing satellite signals for positioning, ensuring accuracy in the path. The use of the system allows, for example, an increase of up to 5% in the planted area, compared to work without precision technology.

By reducing work fatigue, the electric autopilot also allows the operator to focus on the operation to be performed, which results in increased operational efficiency, in addition to fewer failures and overlaps, optimizing resources and inputs.
Installation is carried out through the Massey Ferguson dealer network. “It is a system that is compatible with several precision agriculture solutions on the market, allowing us to add more technology to the machine in the field”, stresses Schneider.
