Electrification continued to gain ground in the first half of the year, representing 31.6% of new car registrations (23.5% in 2021), and even 40% for business customers.
The latter are also the most fond of plug-in cars, registering 85% of BEV (all-electric) models and 90% of PHEV (plug-in hybrids) during the first six months of the year.

At European level, sales of new cars with petrol engines (-22% over one year) or diesel (-27%) collapsed in the second quarter, according to figures from manufacturers.
Gasoline cars accounted for 38.5% of sales, 17% for diesel and 22% for hybrids, which continue to grow.
