Avtovaz can create relatively cheap cars, Igor Morzharetto believes
The AvtoVAZ concern can offer Russians affordable car models. This may happen by the end of summer, if the automaker mobilizes its capabilities. Such a forecast in an interview with URA.RU was made by a partner of the Avtostat analytical agency, auto expert Igor Morzharetto.
“In the short term, somewhere in July or August, relatively cheap cars from AvtoVAZ may appear. If Avtovaz sways even a little bit,” said Morzharetto.
The auto expert noted that at the moment the prices for cars are quite high. “There is no market as such now, and there is no opportunity for ordinary people to buy a car. Due to the shortage of cars, prices are fierce. And since such prices, then, accordingly, there are no sales, ”concluded Morzharetto.
Western automakers left the Russian market following the start special operations on the demilitarization and denazification of Ukraine, which led to an increase in the price of cars. After that, Rosstat announced that the production of passenger cars in Russia reduced by 85%. Auto experts noted that to replace Western car brands Chinese cars will come to Russia.
