Secure power supply guaranteed at all times
Vienna (OTS) – A fire broke out in the 30-kV switchgear of the Kaprun substation of the Austrian Power Grid today at around 12:30 a.m. due to a technical defect. This might be extinguished within two hours through the immediate use of technical emergency measures and the deployment of the fire brigade. The supply security of Salzburg and Austria was guaranteed at all times.

That is around 19 percent of the total of 18 billion euros that the e-business will invest in the network infrastructure over the next ten years.
