Austria – Northern Ireland 2: 0: ÖFB women back in business

Before the last game of Group A, the door to the quarter-finals remains open for Austria. The ÖFB women celebrated a 2-0 triumph over Northern Ireland on the 2nd matchday of the UEFA Women’s EURO 2022.

In the first game once morest England, Austria had a lot of work to do in defence, this time Irene Fuhrmann’s team took the initiative themselves. Above all, Julia Hickelsberger-Füller always caused danger on the right side.
