Leipzig/Vienna/Berlin – As this year’s guest country, Austria will present itself with a diverse program at the Leipzig Book Fair (April 27-30). In addition to performances by publishers and authors, numerous cultural events are planned, from guest performances at the Burgtheater to the Maria Lassnig exhibition. The guest country presents itself under the motto “meaoiswiamia” (more than us), which is probably difficult for German ears to understand.
