It’s no exaggeration to say the four seamers – Pat Cummins, Josh Hazlewood, Mitch Starc, and Nathan Lyon, are among Australia’s greatest bowlers of all time, but even they have struggled to find a foothold in recent series against India.
Since first coming together in the 2017-18 Ashes, the quartet has played 31 Tests together, by far an international record for any frontline group of pacers. Even with injuries and a changing format, they are the go-to combination for Australia.
