Lhe Australian Tennis Federation, which organizes the Australian Open, shared its “deep regrets” on Tuesday, January 18, referring to the impact that the politico-sanitary saga had on the tournament which led to the expulsion of Novak Djokovic from the country. “As representatives of the tennis family, we recognize that the events (around Djokovic) have been a significant distraction for everyone and we deeply regret the impact this matter has had on all players,” TA wrote. in a press release.
