DALLAS: The North America-Europe Marthoma Youth Alliance Southwest Regional Art Festival Competition was held at the Houston Emmanuel Marthoma Church on Saturday, September 30th.
Austin Marthoma Church took the overall championship. Austin Marthoma Marthoma Church were the winners by securing the highest number of points in the individual and group competitions.
South West Regional President Rev. Sam K Eso presided. Mr. Sergeant John delivered the welcome speech. Rev. Santosh Thomas led the opening prayer. The theme of the meeting was “Fullness of Life in Christ”. Sehion Marthoma vicar Rev. Joby John delivered the keynote address.
In the art competitions held in the followingnoon, the Carrollton Marthoma Church Youth Alliance won first place in the Bible Quiz Competition and the Marthoma Church of Farmers Branch won first place in the Group Song Competition. In addition, members of the youth alliance of Houston Trinity Marthoma Church, Houston Emmanuel Marthoma Church, Houston St. Thomas Marthoma Church, St. Paul’s Marthoma Church and Zehion Marthoma Church also participated in the competitions. Rev. Dennis Abraham presented the trophies to the winners. Secretary, South West Regional Alliance, Aju A John gave vote of thanks.
