Austin, Texas – A woman was arrested for drunken driving after crashing into two Austin ISD school buses Thursday night, police said.
Austin Police said that around 11:33 p.m. on Aug. 29, officers responded to a crash involving a car and two Austin ISD school buses in the 2900 block of N Lamar Blvd.
When they learned of the incident, many McCallum High School parents, including Rolando Tey, expressed their concern.
“I was scared,” Rolando Tey said. “Maybe a little bit insecure about what is happening or what happened.”
Five students and one of the bus drivers suffered minor injuries.

Amanda Levi, a mother, said she learned of the accident Friday afternoon.
“My daughter was supposed to be at that game, so to find out about something like that is a little alarming,” Amanda Levi said.
