Augustus Prew Joins Season 2 of ‘1923’ After Breakout Role in ‘The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power’

The actor Augustus Prew, who played the elf Médhor in The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power, has joined another major franchise: he will be in the 2nd season of 1923, a spinoff of Yellowstone. The information comes from Deadline.

According to the website, Prew will play a character named Paul, a wealthy British immigrant whom we first meet on a ship heading to the United States.

Prew joins Janet Montgomery (New Amsterdam) and Jennifer Carpenter (Dexter) in the cast of the second season. Harrison Ford and Helen Mirren, stars of the first season, have not yet officially confirmed their returns.

In the storyline of 1923, we follow a new generation of the Dutton family, protagonists of the franchise Yellowstone. In the early 20th century, they had to face pandemics, droughts, and the end of the Prohibition era.

The production is available for streaming on Paramount+ and there is still no release date for the second season.
