The Audiovisual Media Authority told the site “News 24“: Any person who violates the electronic publishing regulations, whether the electronic publishing regulations or the information crime control system, legal measures will be taken against him.
She added that a celebrity was monitored who spread a rumor on social media, where she was summoned to take her statement, as well as refer the violation to the Public Prosecution, as it violates the anti-information crime system.
For its part, the General Presidency of the Commission for the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice denied the validity of the rumors circulated on social media regarding the work of the Commission, stressing that the General Presidency carries out its work and competencies in accordance with regulations and instructions.
