Audi Japan (Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo, Brand Director: Matthias Scheepers) has been selected as one of the top 100 brands by Forbes
As a supporter of the “Forbes JAPAN 30 UNDER 30 2024” event organized by Forbes JAPAN (operated by Linktides Inc., Chairman and CEO Makoto Takano), Audi has awarded special Audi prizes to three “world-changing under 30s” who resonate with Audi’s philosophy of always looking ahead to the future and continuing to evolve.
The Audi Special Awards were presented to one next-generation leader each in the three categories of entertainment, sports, and business. The winners are as follows:
Entertainment Category: Actor Mio Imada
Sports category: Professional basketball player Yuki Kawamura
Business Category: Inoka Co., Ltd. CEO, Yota Takakura
At the awards event held at Shibuya Stream Hall on August 26th, Audi Japan Brand Director Matthias Scheepers presented the trophy to Mio Imada on behalf of the winners.
Mio Imada, winner of the Entertainment category, has been active in a wide variety of roles, including commercials, TV dramas, voice acting, and movies, and her natural expressions and acting have captivated many people. She will also play the heroine of the NHK morning drama series in the first half of 2025. Yuki Kawamura, winner of the Sports category, made his debut in the first-ever men’s professional basketball league B.LEAGUE as a high school student, and represented Japan at the Paris Olympics. His attitude of continuing to challenge himself toward the big goal of playing in the NBA overlaps with Audi’s “evolution” philosophy. Yota Takakura, winner of the Business category, is CEO of Inoka Co., Ltd. and promotes biodiversity conservation through advanced technology called “environmental transport technology,” which resonates with Audi’s global environmental protection program “Mission: Zero.”
Audi has always led the industry as a leading premium mobility brand by introducing groundbreaking technologies and concepts under the motto “Evolution you can feel.” Evolution is part of Audi’s DNA, and the company is currently leading the carbon neutralization of the automotive industry through the market introduction of the electric vehicle e-tron, and is working with various business partners to realize a sustainable society.
Audi’s global environmental protection program, “Mission: Zero,” has a wide range of activities and measures, including decarbonization, effective water use, efficient resource utilization, and biodiversity protection. In Japan, the company is also working with regions that are taking a leading role in the use of renewable energy and promoting carbon neutrality in dealership operations.
