Audi Austria and FC Red Bull Salzburg extend their partnership

In July 2024, FC Red Bull Salzburg and Audi extended their partnership, which has existed since 2005, for a further three years. The four rings will thus continue to keep players, employees, officials and the management of the top Bundesliga club mobile at a high level.

The last European Championship has once again impressively demonstrated the great appeal of football. The decision to extend the partnership with one of the most successful domestic clubs – FC Red Bull Salzburg – for another three years was an easy one for Thomas Beran, Brand Manager of Audi Austria: “Both partners benefit from technological expertise, the promotion of young talent and expanded marketing opportunities. Audi brings advanced technologies and a global presence, while FC Red Bull Salzburg offers top sporting performance and a strong fan base“, said Beran.
Stephan Reiter, Managing Director of FC Red Bull Salzburg, added: “The partnership between FC Red Bull Salzburg and Audi is based on shared values ​​such as innovation, performance and continuous improvement. Both brands strive for excellence in their fields and want to be the best. We can therefore inspire each other on how to expand our position through progressive approaches and strong teamwork.

Future orientation also in the vehicle fleet
As early as 2021 – the very year in which the Red Bull Arena was upgraded by MOON with internal and public charging points – the fleet provided by Audi for FC Red Bull Salzburg was already half electrified. In the coming years, fully electric vehicles as well as plug-in hybrid variants from various series will accompany the club to its destination safely and in an environmentally friendly manner. In addition, an Audi Q8 e-tron received a literally electrifying foil in the style of the new away jersey as part of the cooperation. It can be seen on our streets on various occasions and can be won by fans as part of a competition for the appropriate travel to FC Red Bull Salzburg away games.
The new Audi Q6 e-tron provided a glimpse into the near future during the photo shoot with Stephan Reiter and Thomas Beran in the Red Bull Arena. Audi’s first vehicle on the new Premium Platform Electric stands for technology in its product substance and sustainably underpins the foundation on which the cooperation between Audi and FC Red Bull Salzburg is based: the pursuit of constantly new top performances.
