It has been a few years since the Apple adopted a new design for commemorative plaques aimed at employees who have completed decades working at the company, but there are already people wanting to get rid of them and make good money from them.
In another campaign na LCG Auctionsare being auctioned off 20 years of work plaque at Apple, as well as the company’s still sealed products — such as first-generation iPhones and an original iPod.
Starting with the long-awaited plate, it has a matte space gray look with the Apple logo mirrored in the center and the “20” (symbolizing the anniversary) carved on the side. It is considered a “rare” product — following all, it’s not every day that someone celebrates 20 years at Apple (or any company), is it?
Accepting initial bid from US$2 milthe plate is in perfect condition and comes with tissue paper with an explanation of the materials used in the manufacture of the piece and, most importantly, Tim Cook’s signature.
Another interesting item is a iPhone original de 8GB sealed. It might be just another original iPhone auction, but in this case not even the FedEx box — responsible for delivery — was tampered with by the buyer. The product accepts bids from US$10 mil.
The lot also has a Original sealed iPod (launched from US$5 mil) and another Original sealed iPhone — this time, without the FedEx box. As this is a rarer model (4GB), the initial bid required is US$20 mil.
