Barcelona’s first-team football striker, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, expressed his great happiness over the joining of his former colleague in Borussia Dortmund, Robert Lewandowskito the Catalan giant.
Aubameyang and Lewandowski joined Borussia Dortmund in the 2013/2014 season, before the Polish left to Bayern Munich in the summer of 2014 for free following the expiration of his contract.

Aubameyang spoke regarding Lewandowski in comments reported by the British newspaper, “Metro”, and said: “I was really excited because I know him well, we played together at Borussia Dortmund and had some great times there.”
He continued: “I was just happy and when the deal became official, we were reunited and had a great conversation during which we remembered what happened in the past, I am really happy because this is how Barcelona will compete for all the championships.”
He added: “Obviously I think we have more experience, maybe we can perform better than we did with Borussia Dortmund in the past, personally I will try to do my best and I am sure he will do that, we hope to have better numbers than in the past.”
And regarding Xavi: “He has a desire to compete with Barcelona for all the championships. This is what we feel through the required deals. Of course, when you talk regarding titles, we need a competitive team.”
He continued, “That’s why we have a lot of attackers, midfielders and defenders, this is the way to win titles next season.”
