The Prosecutors Association (Persaja) representing the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) held the 64th Attorney’s Service Day ceremony on Monday (22/7). They promised to continue to eradicate corruption wholeheartedly.
“All prosecutors employed by the KPK will wholeheartedly enforce the law on corruption crimes in accordance with the legal corridor for the sake of creating justice,” said the Head of the KPK Representative Office, Rio Vernika Putra, in a written statement.
The KPK representatives held the Adhyaksa Bhakti Day ceremony at the Red and White Building. They all promised to hold firmly to the motto een en ondeelbar even though they work at the anti-corruption agency.
“Holding the motto “een en ondeelbar” which means the Prosecutor’s Office is one and inseparable as a bond of the Prosecutor’s Office’s identity wherever it is,” said Rio.
In total, there are one hundred prosecutors assigned to the KPK. They are all assigned to handle trials until the execution of convicts and assets.
Attorney General ST Burhanuddin reminded all ranks of the Prosecutor’s Office to be aware of individuals who try to weaken the Adhyaksa Corps. This was conveyed in his message as the ceremony inspector at the 64th Adhyaksa Service Day Ceremony.
“Therefore, I remind all of us to always be vigilant, do not be careless in the slightest. Because of the efforts to weaken the institution that we love, by criminals who are not comfortable with the law enforcement carried out by the prosecutor’s office,” said Burhanuddin.
Burhanuddin claimed that in the last five years, the Prosecutor’s Office was able to make history by becoming the most trusted law enforcement agency. Law enforcement carried out by its ranks was carried out without discrimination. (Z-11)
