Attorney General’s Office Recovers IDR 1.3 Trillion in State Finances in Semester I 2024 – 2024-07-23 16:51:45

Attorney General Sanitiar Burhanuddin revealed that his party had recovered state finances amounting to IDR 1.3 trillion throughout Semester I 2024. The state money rescue was obtained from the special criminal sector.

“The special criminal sector, throughout Semester I of 2024, has rescued and recovered state financial losses of approximately IDR 1.3 trillion,” said Burhanuddin at the Indonesian Attorney General’s Office Education and Training Agency, Ragunan, South Jakarta, Monday (22/7).

In this field, Burhanuddin said the Attorney General’s Office is also uncovering the handling of the mega corruption case of tin mining governance. The total loss is a total loss of Rp300 trillion.

“It is divided into state losses of Rp29 trillion and state financial losses due to environmental damage of Rp271 trillion,” explained Burhanuddin.

He also revealed that in the General Crimes Sector, the completion of case handling up to the execution stage until June 2024 was 46,300 cases. Meanwhile, the handling of the second stage was 55,202 cases.

Furthermore, the termination of prosecution using a restorative justice approach was 5,482 cases.

“And forming 4,617 Restorative Justice Houses and 112 NAPZA (narcotics, psychotropics, and other addictive substances) rehabilitation centers,” said Burhanuddin. (Z-11)
