“So we convey that until today there is no information about that,” said the Head of the Legal Information Center (Kapuspenkum) of the Attorney General’s Office, Harli Siregar at the Attorney General’s Office Building, South Jakarta, Tuesday (20/8).

Harli ensured that he would provide information if there was a schedule for the examination of the former Golkar Party General Chairman. The issue of Airlangga being questioned by the AGO regarding the alleged corruption case of crude palm oil (CPO) export permits and its derivatives for the 2021-2022 period has been circulating since he resigned as Golkar General Chair last week, Sunday (11/8).

“I have repeatedly conveyed to media colleagues that if there is information regarding the summons or examination of the person concerned, we will update it,” said Harli.

Previously, Airlangga Hartarto was questioned by the Attorney General’s Office in the investigation of this case on Monday, July 24, 2023. In fact, Airlangga has the potential to be questioned again.

The Director of Investigation of the Deputy Attorney General for Special Crimes (Jampidsus) of the AGO, Kuntadi, admitted that he would examine the 46 answers given by Airlangga during the examination.
