Megasztár – which will soon return on TV2 – brought him national fame, which he then used well, because he has been making a living from his singing voice and music ever since. Previously, however, he worked on a Danube ship and a cruise ship. Attila Kökény almost stayed there once, he got into a very dangerous situation.

“Once on a Danube ship, I slept under the chimney, and the captain left the chimney open. Somewhere in Germany, or with the Austrians, I don’t know anymore, we ran into a bridge… the chimney broke, but that was what it meant! Everyone ran to the on the ship, a huge panic, I fell asleep, I didn’t wake up, even though there was a siren, a bagpipe. My brother came to tell me that the chimney broke next to you… but I slept well,” he recalled. He also talked about how
they tied themselves up on the cruise ship when there was a big storm.
According to Kökény, at that time a ship is just like “a matchbox at sea.”
