The Attijariwafa bank group inaugurated this week the new headquarters of the Regional Directorate of Fez-Meknes, in the presence of its CEO, Mohamed El Kettani, the Wali of the Fez-Meknes Region, Saïd Zniber, the President of the Council of the Fez Region -Meknes, Abdelouahed El Ansari, and the mayor of the city of Fez, Abdeslam Bekkali.
On this occasion, two partnership agreements were signed; one between Attijariwafa bank and the Fez-Meknes Regional Directorate of the OFPPT, and the second between Attijariwafa bank, the Regional Investment Center (CRI) Fez-Meknes, and the General Confederation of Moroccan Enterprises (CGEM) .
Housing new branch concepts, the different spaces have been designed to provide private and professional customers, VSEs, SMEs with an optimal experience, giving access to Attijariwafa bank’s financial and non-financial services via functional, fluid and ergonomic physical and digital journeys.
Indeed, the new Attijariwafa bank branch concepts provide customers with areas for sharing and exchange in order to provide all categories of customers with tailor-made support, which meets their specific expectations to achieve their personal and professional projects.
This regional headquarters, in addition to its vocation of regional development, aspires to combine environmental performance and energy prowess thanks to the so-called bioclimatic design, promoting the well-being, comfort and health of its ecosystem. A desire that has earned it the award of the HQE™ “Exceptional” level certification by the international organization Cerway.
Furthermore, Attijariwafa bank has worked to make this new space a setting dedicated to creativity, inspiration and the noble trades that undeniably recall the city of Fez of yesteryear. Wood, zouak, ceramics, the chiseled copper of the Seffarine, leather or even embroidery are then harmonized around works by great masters. A permanent exhibition of important works from the Group’s collection can thus be enjoyed in all areas of the head office.
On the sidelines of this inauguration, the Attijariwafa bank Foundation organized a conference of the cycle “Discussing to better understand” on the theme: “Fez-Meknes: assets and investment opportunities of the Region”, in the presence of Yassine Tazi, Managing Director from the CRI of Fez-Meknes, Nawfal Kettani, Managing Director of Maroc-Modis and member of the regional representation of the CGEM and Hicham Sebti, Director of Euromed Business School, who moderated the conference.
This conference thus made it possible to highlight the economic, cultural, tourist and human assets of the Fez-Meknes region and to recall the importance of its contribution to the creation of national wealth.
